BIOGRAPHY
Mikayla Cain is the Administrative Assistant for the Counselor Education Program in ESPRMC for the College of Education. In her role, she enjoys helping and supporting prospective graduate students as well as currently enrolled students in the program. She also assists faculty in their administrative and travel needs. Mikayla is responsible for maintain student files and database for students in ESPRMC and helping faculty with comprehensive exams.
Mikayla grew up in Northport, AL, and later moved to Mobile, AL, for 6 years to attend college. In Mobile, she studied at the University of South Alabama and earned her B.S. in Hospitality and Tourism Management. While having a huge passion for learning and studying, she decided to start graduate school immediately after completing her undergraduate degree. Mikayla graduated from the University of South Alabama in the Mitchell College of Business obtaining a master’s in business administration.
While attending the University of South Alabama, she joined her Alpha Gamma Delta sorority and Graduate Student Association. While she was in those organizations she participated in intramural athletics and dance competitions; and took upon leadership roles in GSA as VP for the Fall 2022 term and as President for the Spring 2023 term. In Mikayla’s spare time she enjoys playing pickleball and hiking with friends, spending time with friends and family, traveling to different cities, going to concerts and the beach.
